Michael Chen

Michael Chen is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience spanning over a decade in various roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as Lead Software Engineer at Copperleaf since January 2020, Michael has developed automation libraries, optimized testing processes, and managed CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Jenkins. Prior to this, at INETCO Systems Limited, Michael worked as a QA Analyst / SDET, focusing on automated testing frameworks and regression testing in an Agile environment. While at CounterPath, Michael held a dual role as QA Automation Engineer and QA Engineer, where skills in Selenium, TestNG, and Java were applied to develop automation frameworks and perform comprehensive testing. Michael's career began as a Client Support Technician at Canada's Michael Smith Genome Sciences Centre, providing technical support and managing client communications. Michael holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering from Simon Fraser University.
