Michael Leahy is a seasoned software engineer with a focus on geospatial technologies, currently serving as a Senior Lead Software Engineer at Copperleaf since April 2022. Prior to this role, Leahy worked at Esri Canada for a decade, where responsibilities included managing GIS Centres of Excellence and developing applications utilizing advanced Esri technologies. Earlier experience includes a position as a Product Support Specialist at Desire2Learn, an Assistant Research Fellow at the University of Otago, and involvement in educational research projects in Peru with Alternativa.
