Captain Jared Deright

Captain Jared Deright possesses a diverse array of skills and experiences spanning multiple industries. Currently serving as a Quality Engineer at Copperweld and as a Lieutenant and Firefighter at Tracy City Fire & Rescue since December 2021, Jared has made significant contributions to both fields. Previous experience includes operating as a Fly Fishing Guide at Alaska Rainbow Lodge and owning Southern Pines Guide Service, alongside a role as Quality Assurance Supervisor at Southwire Company. Jared's military background includes serving as a Fireteam Leader with the United States Marine Forces Reserve and working as a Groundsman and Light Equipment Operator for Henkels & McCoy, Inc. Educationally, Jared holds certifications from NOLS as a Wilderness First Responder, True Course Captains School for Operating Uninspected Passenger Vessels, and Sweetwater Travel Company as a Fly Fishing Guide, augmented by military training from the United States Marine Corps.
