Tim Hadsel-Mares has a diverse work experience across various industries and roles. Tim started their career in 1997 as an Expedition Assistant at the Earthwatch Institute. From 2001 to 2003, they worked as a Professional Tennis Instructor at the Topnotch Resort and Spa. Tim then joined the Grand Slam Tennis Tours as Brand Development and Sales/Marketing from 2004 to 2005. In 2006, they worked as an Assistant to Communication Director at the American Chamber of Commerce in Thailand and also had a role in Business Development/Account Planning at Grey Group. From 2008 to 2010, they served as a Regional Development Manager at International Environmental Management (IEM) where they managed energy-related projects in Southeast Asia. From 2010, they worked as a Business Development Director at Copperweld Bimetallics LLC, pursuing new business opportunities in various regions. Currently, since 2016, they are a Regional Director at ScanTrust, where they develop go-to-market strategies, grows partnerships, pitches solutions to new customers, and provides account management support.
Tim Hadsel-Mares began their education at Kent School, where they completed their high school degree from 1999 to 2001. Tim then attended the University of Richmond from 2001 to 2005, obtaining their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. In 2003, Tim participated in an exchange program at Charles University, focusing on economics. In 2004, they furthered their studies through another exchange program, this time at Thammasat University, where they specifically studied economics. Tim continued their education by pursuing a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Natural Resource Economics at Chulalongkorn University from 2009 to 2010.
