The Commercio Prodotti metallurgici, COPROMET, was founded in 1964 at the behest of its founder Edward Arduini. Copromet started business as a trading company of iron scrap and recovery of metals.

In 1966 the company began to grow according to the needs of the Market and entered fully into trade
of metallurgical products. In 1978 the second generation took over.

In 1980 the company moved from the city to the industrial area for urban reasons and the new plant of 8000 square metres was built just next to the autostrada  del Sole, at the exit of Fiorenzuola D’Arda.

In 1984 the holding undergoes another major expansion through the extension of the first plant, were thus added another 3000 square meters.

A few years later, in 1987, thanks to the ‘growing success’ and To the continuous will to satisfy the demands of increasingly numerous clients, wanting to preserve an appearance of the material protecting it from atmospheric conditions, Copromet Copromet built another another factory of 12,000 square meters, becoming a point of reference for the Italian steel market.

Over the last years, with the arrival of the third generation, Copromet began a process of internationalization of its business by bringing its expertise to the disposal of the foreign markets. 
Today led by the third generation management, COPROMET’s attitude towards customers is rooted in strong family values: we keep on paying the utmost respect and attention in fully meeting the requirements of our 2,000 customers, both in terms of product and service.

Our 50-year history we have built with them and thanks to them.
