Declan Smith

Declan Smith is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in cyber security and ICT security management. Currently serving as the Head of Cyber Security at Cora Systems since December 2024, Declan previously held the role of Global ICT Security Manager at Ornua. A significant portion of Declan's career was spent at IBM, where various positions included Networking and Security Solution Manager and Cloud Security Program Manager. Earlier experience includes roles at Vodafone as CRM Project Manager, CLARITY DISTRIBUTION LTD as Presales Technical Consultant, and Logica as Development/Test Lab Manager. Declan began a career in engineering, earning a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics Systems from Ulster University and a National Diploma in Electronic Engineering from Letterkenny Institute of Technology.
