Coram
Amaka U. is an experienced professional with a background in psychology, holding a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Cambridge. Currently serving as a Research Assistant at Coram since October 2023, Amaka U. has also contributed as a Research Assistant Intern at the Centre for Evidence and Implementation, focusing on youth violence and care experience research. With significant volunteering experience at the Private Education Policy Forum and Shout UK, Amaka U. has provided mental health support and engaged in community initiatives. Previous roles include tutoring at Explore Learning, managing partnerships at Bounceback Food CIC, and serving as a Cambassador for the Cambridge Admissions Office, where efforts focused on widening participation and enhancing student engagement. Additional contributions include event organization and campaign work with the BME Campaign Cambridge and volunteering for the Cambridge Development Initiative.
