Mike McKenzie

Mike McKenzie is an experienced music educator and filmmaker currently serving as an independent panel member at Coram since July 2023, while also directing MAD4 Films since January 2021. With a long tenure at Brent Council starting in September 2013, Mike contributes to the Brent Music Service, which aids young musicians in developing their skills. As the founder of DrumCamFilms, Mike focuses on capturing musical performances through a unique perspective, combining drumming and filmmaking. Additionally, from January 2000 to October 2014, Mike worked with the Pupil Parent Partnership, supporting disadvantaged youth in West London through music education and live performances. Mike's educational background includes a postgraduate diploma in guidance and counselling from Brunel University London and a City & Guilds qualification in Building Construction Technology from Thames Valley University.
