Robin Jensen

Robin Jensen has a diverse range of work experience. Starting in 2015, they served as a Service Learning Student Leader at California State University, Monterey Bay, where they created service opportunities for college students to engage with the local community. They also mentored college students and facilitated their understanding of the education system. In 2016, they worked as an Avid Tutor at El Sausal Middle School. From 2017 to 2020, Robin worked as a Substitute Teacher at North County Coastal Substitute Consortium. In 2019, they joined MidPen Housing Corporation as a Family Services Coordinator, providing on-site services to low-income families and organizing events for individuals. They also implemented an after-school program for elementary school students. Robin then transitioned to Abode Services in 2020, initially as a Resident Services Coordinator and later as a Services Coordinator. Finally, in 2022, they joined CORA - Community Overcoming Relationship Abuse as a TDAH Project Coordinator.

Robin Jensen has a strong education history. They obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from California State University, Monterey Bay, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. Afterward, they pursued further education and earned a Master of Arts in Peace and Justice Studies from the University of San Diego, attending from 2017 to 2019.

In addition to their academic achievements, Robin Jensen has also acquired several certifications. They completed a Nonprofit Management Certificate Program at the University of San Diego in July 2022 and obtained a Community Engagement and Voter Advocacy Certificate from the Non-Profit Housing Association of Northern California (NPH) in October 2021. Furthermore, they earned a Mental Health First Aid certification from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing in February 2019. Most recently, in April 2023, they obtained a Self-Care, Confidence & Empowerment Life Coach certification from the Transformation Academy.
