Sarah Mirza is an attorney, specializing in government ethics law, at the U.S. Government Accountability Office. Prior to working for the federal government, Sarah obtained extensive experience in womxn’s human rights issues by working with several international institutions and NGOs on sexual violence in conflict, refugee assistance, and rule of law and accountability mechanisms. Sarah is passionate about the intersectional issues that disproportionately impact womxn’s safety and opportunities both globally and domestically, and she is humbled and excited to be able to bring her experience and passion to CORA’s board.
Sarah received her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, and her Bachelor’s degree in Politics and Master’s in International Public Policy from New York University. Sarah enjoys reading, watching documentaries, fashion and interior design, and eating anything fried and/or spicy.
