Maarten Propper

Maarten Propper is Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer, a position he assumed in May 2016. Mr. Propper has spent his 26-year professional career within the oilfield services industry. From 2009 to 2015 he held a variety of global senior management positions like President and Chief Executive Officer of Probe Technology. Prior to a brief consulting assignment in 2008, from 2005 through 2007, Mr. Propper was a Vice-President in charge of the Performance Drilling and Evaluation unit of Weatherford International, Ltd.; a unit that generated average annual revenue during Mr. Propper’s tenure in excess of $1.0 billion, and provided directional drilling and logging, controlled pressure drilling services and testing services. In this position, Mr. Propper was responsible for managing approximately 7,500 people. Prior to his experience at Weatherford, from 2003 through 2005, Mr. Propper was Vice-President of Precision Drilling Corporation energy services division providing directional drilling and logging, controlled pressure drilling services, and testing services. From 1991 through 2003, Mr. Propper was employed in various field and senior management capacities of the Formation Evaluation and Testing division within Schlumberger Oilfield Services.

Mr. Propper graduated in 1991 from Technical University of Delft, The Netherlands, with a Master of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering.
