Kimberly Doherty, MS has worked in a variety of roles since 1997. From 1997 to 2000, they were a Senior Research Technician for two Principal Investigators at the University of Chicago. Her duties included designing and conducting studies, examining signaling pathways, analyzing data sets, creating figures for publications, editing manuscripts and grants, writing and editing grant applications, writing and submitting abstracts, creating poster presentations, coordinating studies and research direction, and serving as a technical contact and Science Writer/Editor.
In 2011, Doherty worked as a Scientist and Principal Research Associate in Translational Research and Development in Oncology at Quintiles. Kimberly also worked as an author for Agate Publishing, Inc. in 2011.

Kimberly received their Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1995, with a major in Biology; Biology and Sociology. In 2006, Doherty, MS obtained a Writing certificate from the University of Chicago--Graham School, with a major in Medical Writing and Editing. In 2013, they obtained an Essentials Skills certificate from AMWA, with a major in Medical Writing and Editing. In 2014, they obtained a Good Clinical Practices certification from Barnett Educational Services.
