Victor Thomas is a retired professional with a long career in the social care sector. Prior to retiring in 2018, they worked at Ex VGT Independent Social Work Ltd. In their previous role as the owner of VGT Independent Social Work Services from 2015 to 2018, they used their knowledge and experience to undertake interim and short-term contract roles within the social care sector. Victor also had experience in change management and introduced effective team structures and work practices. Victor has also held positions at Core Assets as the Operations Director Cymru, Registered Manager, and as the Area Manager at Foster Care Associates. During their time at Core Asset as the Head of Strategic Development Wales in 2015, they ensured the delivery of contractual expectations and developed new services to meet the needs of local authorities. Finally, they were a Regional Manager at Pathway Care Ltd/Fostering Solutions from 2009 to 2012.
Victor Thomas obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of South Wales from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Social Work (CQSW) from the South Glamorgan Institute of Higher Education from 1985 to 1986.
