Daniel Cermeno

Daniel Cermeno has a diverse work experience in the field of biotechnology and stem cell research. Daniel has worked as a Product Manager at Core Biogenesis since February 2022, where they focus on creating solutions-based products for stem cell researchers, alternative protein makers, and cell therapy developers. Daniel has also been responsible for developing a portfolio of raw and starting materials with unique features such as animal component-free origin, improved bioactivity, and consistent performance.

Prior to this, Daniel worked as a Business Developer and Application Specialist at REGEMAT 3D from October 2020 to January 2022. Their role involved helping scientists enhance their research projects through bioprinting technologies. Daniel provided personalized solutions and taught users about the bioprinting industry.

Before joining REGEMAT 3D, Daniel served as a Lab Manager at PITI3D Tissue Engineering & 3D Printing Platform from July 2018 to October 2020. There, they worked on research projects related to tissue engineering and bioprinting, with a specific focus on reconstructive and regenerative medicine.

Daniel also has experience as an Entrepreneur at Entrepreneur First from 2017 to 2018, where they built a startup company and worked on team-building and investor relationships. Additionally, they co-founded the Clean Meat Company in 2017, where they developed advanced stem cell technologies for creating clean meat alternatives.

Earlier in their career, Daniel worked as a Stem Cell Research Associate at the University of California San Diego's Moores Cancer Center from October 2016 to October 2017. Daniel also worked as a Stem Cell Research Technician at the University of California San Diego's Sanford Consortium for Regenerative Medicine from December 2015 to August 2016, where they focused on gene editing and differentiation of neural progenitor cells.

Daniel began their career as a Research Intern at Teco Diagnostics from April 2015 to June 2015, gaining experience in biomedical device development and FDA approvals for diagnostic tools.

Daniel Cermeno obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology from Universidad Europea between 2011 and 2015. Continuing their education, Daniel completed a Master of Science - MS in Cellular Therapy at King's College London from 2017 to 2019.
