Mark Riggs

Mark Riggs possesses extensive experience in communications engineering and project management, currently serving as a Communications Engineer and Physical Security Subject Matter Expert at CORE Electric Cooperative since November 2011. Riggs oversees communications systems for a large member base across a vast rural service area in Colorado. Prior roles include senior project management positions at Itron, where Riggs directed the deployment of smart metering systems, and Landis+Gyr, managing advanced metering infrastructure projects. With a background in RF testing and engineering from positions at Lockheed Martin, Verance, Qualcomm, Motorola, and CellNet, Riggs has demonstrated proficiency in network design, implementation, and optimization. Additionally, foundational experience in the US Navy Security Group as a Cryptologic Technician highlights an early commitment to technical excellence.
