Devorick Johnson

Network Technician at Core Government Services

Devorick Johnson has extensive work experience in information technology and systems administration, starting with their role as a Computer Support Specialist for the 101st Airborne Division in 2000. Devorick later went on to serve as an IT Support Specialist for the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, where they provided IT support in fixed and mobile settings for various special operational organizations. Devorick also served as a System Manager for the 2nd Infantry Division in Korea, a System Administrator for the 82nd Airborne Division, and an IT Manager for the Military Information Support Operations Command. In 2015, they joined the 10th Mountain Division as a senior Information Technology Manager and later returned to that division as an Information Security Specialist Intern. Johnson also worked as a Cyber Security Student at the Center Defense & Homeland Security at Fayetteville State University in 2021. Devorick recently served as a System Administrator for the City of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and currently serves as a System Administrator for Core Government Services. Throughout their career, Johnson has demonstrated expertise in setting up network architecture, working with virtual machines and VMware hypervisor, and providing active directory domain controller administration.

Devorick Johnson graduated with an Associate of Arts degree in General Studies from Fayetteville Technical Community College in 2021. Devorick is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management Information Systems at Fayetteville State University. Additionally, they hold many certifications including CompTIA Security+ ce Certification, Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification, and MTA: Networking Fundamentals - Certified 2021. Devorick also obtained various certifications related to Windows 10 and Cisco networking from Skillsoft as well as Infrastructure and Application Modernization with Google Cloud and Innovating with Data and Google Cloud certifications from Google. Moreover, they have been (ISC)² candidate certified. Lastly, they completed the DOD Information Assurance Certification Program, but the month and year of completion were not provided.
