The G.C.C. Core ministry is a children’s ministry started by youth for youth within the local Gethsemane Christian Church located in Rockford, Illinois. The mission of this ministry is to establish a stable youth community that inspires and promotes a livelihood of Christian fellowship, growth, and leadership rooted in biblical principles. This is done by establishing different opportunities for community outreach which the kids have the opportunity to get involved in. This is done to stress the importance of giving back to the community while simultaneously instilling the skills necessary to prepare them to be the high-functioning leaders of tomorrow we know they can be.
