Dave DeBald

Chief Architect at Core Techs

Dave DeBald has worked in the software development field since 1987. Dave began their career at ARMCO Steel Company as a Systems Engineer, where they were responsible for the analysis and development of an expert system to route customer orders through a steel mill. In 1993, they became a Systems Analyst at Hanesbrands Inc., where they analyzed, developed, and converted manual and mainframe-based sales forecasting to an automated client/server system. From 1996 to 2002, they worked at Aon Consulting as Manager of the Web Application Development Team, where they led the effort to rethink employee benefits enrollment from a paper system to an online application. Dave then moved to Core Techs, Inc. as Chief Architect, leveraging Microsoft development tools and technologies to deliver applications on time and on budget. In 2006, they became a Consultant at Inmar, Stratapult Technology Solutions, where they developed and maintained business critical applications for the Reverse Logistics area. Prior to this, they worked as a Consultant at SharedGreetings.com, where they were the key architect and developer of the SharedGreetings electronic greetings and sweepstakes B2C site. Dave also worked as a Contractor at Kay Chemical in 2001.

Dave DeBald attended Columbus State Community College from 1979 to 1983, earning an ASMET in Mechanical Engineering. Dave then attended Ohio University from 1983 to 1986, earning a BSISE in Industrial and Systems Engineering.
