Water Guo

Water Guo has extensive work experience in the software industry. Water started their career in 1994 as a Software Engineer at Blue Sky Software, where they worked until 1996. From 1996 to 1997, they worked as a Software Engineer at IBM. In 1998, they joined Invensys as a Senior Software Developer and stayed there until 2000. From 2000 to 2001, Water Guo served as the Founder and CTO at BDI Systems. Water then worked as a Tech. Lead at DataMirror from 2001 to 2004 and as an Architect at Volante Systems Inc from 2004 to 2007. From 2007 to 2010, they worked as a Tech. Lead at Siperian. Water Guo then joined Informatica as a Software Architect in 2010 and stayed there until 2014. In 2015, they founded AntsDB, a next-generation database for real-time applications on top of Hadoop. Water served as the Founder and CEO of AntsDB until 2023. In 2020, Water Guo joined Core42 as the Chief Architect.
