Joe Cecil has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Joe began their career in 2006 as the Network Administrator for the City of Bardstown, where they were responsible for addressing cable internet, cable television, and web-related issues. Joe also provided direct support to customers through various communication channels. Joe then moved on to Nelson County Schools in 2006, where they held the position of Director of Network Operations. In this role, they were in charge of monitoring and maintaining the network for the entire school system. Joe also handled troubleshooting of technical issues and ensured the smooth functioning of all technology-related aspects within the school system. Joe also worked as a Blazer Learning Center Instructor at Bloomfield Middle School in 2009, where they provided instruction and support to students. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Core4ce as a Firewall Engineer, specializing in managing and maintaining firewall systems.

Joe Cecil obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Sullivan University, where they studied from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended Sullivan College of Technology and Design, where they earned an Associate of Science degree in Network and System Administration/Administrator. In terms of certifications, they obtained the following: CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA in September 2020, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2023, Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator from Palo Alto Networks in May 2023, Palo Alto Networks Certified CyberSecurity Associate from Palo Alto Networks in July 2020, Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) from Cisco in December 2019, and EDU Certified Amplified Admin from Amplified IT in April 2019. Additionally, they hold certifications for CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ but the specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
