In 2013 and 2014, they attended the Naval Postgraduate School, where they obtained a Cyber Security Fundamentals Certificate in the field of Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance.
In addition, Ed Lowery has obtained several certifications. In May 2015, they obtained the GIAC Advisory Board certification from GIAC. In the same year, they also obtained the GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN) certification. In October 2016, they obtained the GIAC Security Leadership (GSLC) certification.
