Amanda Eckert-Swift has extensive experience in instructional design and technical writing. Amanda currently works as a Sr. Instructional Designer/Sr. Technical Writer at ELB Learning, previously known as eLearning Brothers, since 2022. Before that, they held the same role at CoreAxis Consulting starting in 2022. From 2021 to 2021, they worked at NASCO as a Sr. Instructional Designer/Technical Writer. Prior to that, they were a Sr. Technical Writer at Bluefin Payment Systems from 2018 to 2021.

Amanda Eckert-Swift obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Classics with a focus on Latin from Loyola University Chicago between 1985 and 1988. Following this, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Linguistics with a specialization in Teaching English from Northeastern Illinois University from 1993 to 1996. Apart from their formal education, Amanda also attended the Training 2005 Conference & Expo, as well as various webinars, although the specific years and fields of study are not provided.
