Gregory Vernon has a diverse work experience across different industries. Gregory started their career as an Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach at Anamosa Community School District from May 2008 to July 2009. Gregory then moved on to become the Head Freshman/Sophomore Baseball Coach at the same district from May 2010 to July 2010, where they successfully developed talented players.

In 2012, Gregory joined Honeywell FM&T as a Mechanical Engineer 1, and then was promoted to Mechanical Engineer 2 in November 2012. During their time at Honeywell, they took on additional responsibilities as the Interim Lead for Mesoscale Computations Focus Area and served as the MATLAB Administrator and P.O.C. Gregory was actively involved in the Quantum Mechanics - Molecular Dynamics - Coarse-Grained field. Gregory's tenure at Honeywell lasted from November 2012 to September 2020.

Most recently, Gregory is currently with Coreform since September 2020, where they started as the Director of Product Management. In February 2022, they transitioned to the role of Director of Engineering. Gregory'swork at Coreform is ongoing.
