Rob Muroff

Owner & CEO at Coreio

As our COO, Rob’s mandate is to keep Coreio synonymous with excellent client service, and to lead the evolution of our Client Delivery business. To help enable Coreio to continue to compete in an ever-changing landscape of IT service providers, Rob leverages 22 years of corporate and consultative IT experience and a passion for exceeding clients’ expectations.

Rob joined Coreio after spending 14 years building his career at the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC). While at RBC, Rob delivered several significant transformational IT initiatives across a wide variety of platforms including, most recently, the global migration to Windows 7 for 120,000 computer assets, Desktop Virtualization and Employee Mobility (BYOD). Rob was proud to be the Executive Chair of the Women in Technology & Operations Employee Resource Group at RBC, supporting the career development of women at the organization, as well as the former chair of the Green IT committee. He remains committed to mentoring and coaching.

Rob holds an MA in Urban Planning from Wayne State University and a BA in Geography from the University of Western Ontario. He has also completed the Executive Development Program at Queens University. A strong believer in the importance of community and charity, he is an active fundraiser for United Way, Jewish National Fund (JNF), Baycrest Hospital and One Family Fund.

In his downtime, Rob is a veteran of eleven marathons, including twice running the Boston Marathon, and loves to vacation in the wilderness of Northern Canada. He lives in Toronto with his wife and two daughters.
