Yulia Belova has a strong background in HR, with their most recent role being HR Director for Russia at Parallels since January 2013. In this role, they provide leadership for a team of HR professionals and is responsible for driving all HR initiatives. Yulia also manages the Performance Management Process for Russia, including pay grade and compensation philosophy development, manager trainings, and talent acquisition and engagement.
Prior to this, Yulia was the Global HR Manager for Parallels in the Asia-Pacific regions from January 2012 to January 2013. In this role, they managed the Performance Management Process for the APAC region, coordinated with HR HQ on process standardization, implemented HRIS SuccessFactors, and handled full-cycle recruiting. Yulia also managed employee relations, HR employee surveys, and the APAC headcount report and org structure.
Before joining Parallels, Yulia worked as an HR Generalist at SWsoft from November 2004 to January 2007. In this role, they supported all HR department activities, including compensation and benefits, recruiting, and company reorganization. Yulia also focused on full cycle recruitment and the attraction of IT professionals.
Throughout their career, Yulia has been recognized for their HR achievements and received several awards, including the Parallels Chairman Award in 2010, the Greater Novosibirsk Region Recognition Medal in 2008, and the Parallels Most Valuable Employee Award in 2007.
Yulia Belova attended Stanford University in 2011 for an executive program called “Managing Talent for Strategic Advantage”. Yulia also studied Economics of Labor and Human Resources Development at Novosibirsk State University (Academy until 2003) of Economic and Management from 1999 to 2004.
