Aj Laforty

AJ LaForty currently serves as the Director of Federal Sales Engineering at Corelight, a position held since October 2023. Prior to this role, AJ held significant positions including Director of Americas - Sales Engineering at Anomali and Sr. Manager of Public Sector Sales Engineering at Recorded Future, where expertise in threat intelligence solutions was developed. AJ's tenure at BMC Software spanned nearly a decade, with ascending roles from Principal Software Engineer to Project Architect, establishing the Federal Data Center cloud practice. Earlier experience includes roles at Deloitte as a Remedy Administrator and the United States Air Force as an Intelligence Systems Network Administrator, where AJ led critical network maintenance and BMC Remedy upgrades. AJ earned an Associate in Applied Science degree from the Community College of the Air Force between 2008 and 2010.
