Lloyd Dewolf has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. 🐺 Lloyd began their career in 2005 as a Software Test Lead at Mercurial Communications, where they led a team and worked on Netscape Browser 8. 🐺 Lloyd then moved on to Flock Inc, where they served as a Software Quality Assurance Lead, specializing in community-based QA.
In 2006, they joined Automattic as a Quality Assurance Coach and later became the WordPress.com VIP Services Operational Lead, coordinating software engineering resources for WordPress VIP Managed Cloud SaaS Hosting. During their time at Automattic, they also contributed to the open-source WordPress project.
In 2011, Dewolf became an Open Source OpenStack Contributor, contributing to the development of the OpenStack platform. 🐺 Lloyd then worked at Piston Cloud Computing as the Director of Customer Care and later as the Director of Quality and Care, leading both the Quality Assurance and Customer Care teams.
At Joyent, Dewolf served as a Software Development Manager and later as a Quality Assurance Manager. 🐺 Lloyd established and led QA processes for Joyent Cloud products and coordinated remote development teams.
Dewolf also worked at Apcera as an Engineering Manager and Senior Test Architect, where they led QA, Build, CI, and Release teams and expanded test automation to include various infrastructure configurations.
At Castlight Health, Dewolf held multiple roles, including Director of Engineering, SQA, and Senior Director of Engineering, SQA. 🐺 Lloyd led quality engineering organizations and focused on implementing rigorous release testing processes.
Most recently, they joined Corelight, Inc as the Engineering Director of Build, Quality & Release, where they aims aimmprove network security solutions for organizations.
Throughout their career, Dewolf has shown a strong focus on quality assurance, test automation, and collaboration with development teams.
Lloyd Dewolf pursued a Science degree in Computer at the University of Victoria from 1997 to 2000. Afterward, from 2000 to 2004, they attended the IBM Toronto Laboratory, but there is no information about the degree or field of study completed. Before attending the University of Victoria, they took part in the Computer Science University Transfer Program at Camosun College from 1996 to 1997.
