Matthew Ellison

Matthew Ellison has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Currently, they serve as the Director of Sales Engineering EMEA & APAC at Corelight, Inc since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Appgate as an EMEA Channel Sales Engineer from October 2021 to May 2022. From 2019 to 2021, they held the position of Principal Consultant, EMEA & APAC at eSentire. Mr. Ellison also worked at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence as the VP of Product & Solutions, Technology & Commercial from November 2017 to December 2018, and as the VP, Product Marketing from October 2016 to November 2017. Matthew was the Director of Sales Engineering, EMEA at LogRhythm from April 2015 to September 2016. At Symantec, they held various roles including Head of CMC Portfolio & Specialist Technical Sales (Presales) EMEA from April 2013 to March 2015, Head of Symantec.cloud Presales EMEA from April 2012 to April 2013, and Senior Manager, Client Services EMEA from August 2010 to April 2012. Prior to Symantec, Mr. Ellison worked at Computer Associates (CA) as a Consultant from November 2004 to September 2006, and at Ikon as a Strategy & Development Consultant from November 2003 to October 2004.

Matthew Ellison earned a BSc in Computing & Design from The Open University from 2010 to 2014. Additionally, they obtained a Diploma in Design & Innovation with a focus on Industrial and Product Design from the same institution from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended Stockport College of Further & Higher Education from 1990 to 1992, where they received an HND in Civil Engineering. In 2021, they obtained a Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK) from the Cloud Security Alliance.
