Robin Sommer

Robin Sommer is a co-founder of Corelight, where various roles have included CTO, Head of Engineering, and Open Source Lead since June 2013. For over 18 years, Robin has also contributed as an affiliated researcher and senior staff researcher at the International Computer Science Institute and previously at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. A notable role includes serving as General Chair for the IEEE Symposium on Security & Privacy in 2013. Academic credentials include a Dr. rer. nat. in Computer Science from the Technical University of Munich and a Diploma in Computer Science and Mathematics from Paderborn University.
