Steven Swaim

Steven Swaim has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Steven is currently working as a Principal Federal Sales Engineer at Corelight since October 2022. Previously, they were a Regional Threat Analytics Lead at Deutsche Bank from January 2018 to September 2022 and a Navy Hunt Team Deputy Commander at Navy Cyber Defense Operations Command from January 2022 to May 2022. Steven has also held positions such as Regional Cyber Threat Operations Lead at Deutsche Bank AG, Frankfurt Branch, Intrusion and Forensics Analyst at CSRA Inc, Senior Information Technology Specialist at SRI International, Senior Security Analyst at TASC Inc, System Engineer at Northrop Grumman, and Special Intelligence Communicator in the United States Marine Corps.

Steven Swaim obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Saint Leo University in the years 2003 to 2007. Steven then pursued a Master of Science degree in Information Systems and Security from Our Lady of the Lake University from 2010 to 2011. In 2021 to 2022, they acquired a Graduate Certificate in Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) from the National Defense University. Additionally, they obtained several certifications, including a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification in 2014 and a GIAC Mobile Device Security Analyst (GMOB) certification from the SANS Institute in 2020.
