Vijit Nair

Vijit Nair has a strong background in product management and engineering. Vijit is currently the VP of Product Management at Corelight, where they are responsible for leading product research and design. Corelight is a rapidly growing company in the Network Detection & Response category, providing comprehensive visibility and cybersecurity solutions. Prior to this, Vijit worked at Juniper Networks, where they held the position of Director of Product Management for the Cloud Segment. During their time at Juniper, they led a team of product managers and played a significant role in building a diverse portfolio of products, contributing to Juniper's attainment of the #1 market share in North America. Vijit also served as a Senior Engineering Manager, leading the cross-functional team responsible for engineering design and delivery for the PTX family of products, which are vital components of internet networks. Earlier in their career, Vijit worked at Impact Technologies Group as a Project Engineer, where they were involved in the development of IoT devices and predictive health maintenance software.

Vijit Nair completed their education in chronological order, with a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Mumbai from 2000 to 2004. Vijit then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Electrical Engineering at Penn State University, from 2004 to 2005. Finally, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Entrepreneurship and Strategy from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, completing it from 2013 to 2016.
