Tuan Tran has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Tuan began their career as a Senior Physical Design Engineer at Intel Corporation in 2007, where they gained expertise in RTL-to-GDSII flow and was responsible for the back-end structural design of Intel chipsets. Tuan then joined General Micro Systems, Inc. in 2016 as a Hardware Design Engineer, where they designed custom military-grade embedded computer systems and developed firmware for a flow cytometry system. In 2017, they moved to Arecont Vision as a Hardware Design Engineer, focusing on product design of FPGA-based cameras and ensuring compatibility with mechanical and software teams. Tuan is currently employed at Corelis Inc. since 2018 as a Senior Hardware Design Engineer, leading the design of USB/PCIE/PXIe test instruments and providing architectural specifications for new products. Tuan has expertise in schematic capture and layout using tools such as Allegro/Altium and Mentor Graphics PADS. Overall, Tuan's work experience showcases their strong skills in hardware design, FPGA development, and chip-set design.
