Matthew Crema

Matthew Crema has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of signal processing and research. Matthew is currently working as a Data Scientist and Signal Processing Engineer at CoreMap since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Abiomed as a Sr. Engineer II in Algorithms & Signal Processing, Applied Research from June 2021 to July 2022.

Matthew also has significant experience at Boston Scientific, where they held the positions of Principal Signal Processing Engineer from February 2020 to June 2021 and Senior Signal Processing Engineer from March 2017 to February 2020.

Before joining Boston Scientific, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Cochlear Implant Research Laboratory, Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary from July 2008 to June 2016.

Matthew's earlier work experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at the Cochlear Biophysics Laboratory, Boston University Hearing Research Center from October 2005 to August 2007 and as a Department Engineer from September 1998 to September 2005. Matthew also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Binaural Hearing Laboratory, Boston University Hearing Research Laboratory from January 1997 to January 1998.

Matthew Crema completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at Boston University in 1998. Matthew then went on to pursue a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Health Sciences and Technology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which they completed in 2016.
