Roy Smeets

Roy Smeets is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in product management, development, and SaaS services across multiple industries. Currently serving as the Chief Product & Technology Officer at CoreMedia since December 2022, Roy is focused on modernizing the product organization, transitioning to cloud-native services, and driving AI innovation. Prior roles include COO and CTO at Keylane, where Roy successfully led a significant shift to hybrid cloud solutions, enhanced software delivery reliability, and revamped product strategies. As Group CTO at Ingenico ePayments, Roy oversaw technology strategy and architecture for a substantial revenue-generating unit, while previous positions included leadership roles at Optiva Inc., Nokia Siemens Networks, Office Depot, AkzoNobel, and Vodafone. Roy holds an MBA from Nyenrode Business University and further degrees in IT Management and Business Administration.
