Lars Petersen

Lars Petersen is a seasoned quantitative analyst with extensive experience in the foreign exchange (FX) sector. Currently serving as a Senior FX Quantitative Analyst at Coremont since July 2023, Lars previously held the position of Head of FX Quants at UniCredit from June 2017 to June 2023. Lars's career includes significant roles at RBS, where responsibilities spanned from Head of eTrading Quantitative Analytics to Head of FX Options Quantitative Research and Quantitative Analyst, focusing on FX options pricing models. Prior to RBS, Lars worked as a Researcher at NanoNord A/S and as an Assistant Research Professor at Aarhus University, contributing to research in surface science. Lars’s academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Physics and Chemistry from Aarhus University, completed between 1991 and 1999.
