Asaf Pellman is a seasoned optical engineer with extensive experience in designing advanced optical systems for various high-tech applications. Currently serving as Principal Optical Engineer at Align Technology since April 2022 and an Optical Designer at Corephotonics Ltd since November 2021, Asaf has previously held key positions at Intel Corporation, Magic Leap, Microsoft, and 3DV Systems, focusing on depth-sensing camera optics and augmented reality display systems. With a strong academic background in Engineering Physics, including a Master of Science from Tel Aviv University and a Bachelor of Science from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Asaf has contributed significantly to projects such as the Hololens at Microsoft and has a robust foundation in optical design developed through early roles at Bioscan, Eastman Kodak Company, and the Ministry of Defence.
