Michael Scherer

Michael Scherer is a highly experienced physicist and business development professional with expertise in mobile technologies and intellectual property. Currently serving as Lead Physicist and Head of IP at Corephotonics Ltd since 2019, Michael focuses on developing innovative technologies for cameras and sensors. Prior to this role, Michael held positions at Deutsche Telekom and InnovationLab GmbH, where responsibilities included establishing strategic partnerships and aligning business needs with technological solutions in the fields of digital health and advanced electronics. Michael's academic background includes a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Technische Universität Braunschweig and a Diploma in Physics and Economics from Heidelberg University, complemented by studies at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
