Andrei Tsarou

Andrei Tsarou has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Andrei began their career in 2001 as a System Engineer at ComputerCenterService CP at the National Bank of Belarus, where they provided user support and serviced companies for Microsoft operating systems. Andrei worked there until September 2003.

In 2008, Andrei joined Sitel at Cisco as a Pre-Sales Technical Support Specialist, where they provided technical assistance to customers before making a transition to Nokia in 2009. At Nokia, they worked as a Remote Access Specialist and was responsible for providing remote access support to NSN employees and business partners. Additionally, they played a role in planning the placement of WiFi for implementing wireless infrastructure. Andrei worked at Nokia until February 2012.

Andrei then joined Corero Network Security in 2012 as a Security Support Engineer, a role they held until October 2014. During this time, they developed expertise in infrastructure development and support, DDoS attack analysis and mitigation, as well as developing Splunk dashboards for enhanced traffic analysis and visibility.

In 2014, Andrei was promoted to the role of Senior Security Services Engineer at Corero Network Security. Andrei continued to excel in infrastructure development and support and contributed significantly to the development of various security measures, including DNS tunneling detection, SIP abuse detection, and port scanning detection. Andrei also continued their work in DDoS attack analysis and mitigation. Andrei'stenure at Corero Network Security extended until January 2022.

Most recently, Andrei Tsarou joined Corero Network Security as a Cloud Security Engineer in January 2022. As a Cloud Security Engineer, they utilize their extensive experience and skills to ensure the security of cloud-based systems and infrastructure.

Throughout their career, Andrei has consistently demonstrated technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to ensuring the security of systems and infrastructure.

Andrei Tsarou completed their Master's degree in Radiophysics from Belarusian State University, which took place from 1996 to 2001. Later, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Physics at the Institute of Physics Polish Academy of Sciences from 2003 to 2008. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including CCDP and CCNP from Cisco, GCIA, GCIH, and GPEN from GIAC Certifications, Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA) from Juniper Networks, and MCSA from Microsoft.
