Mikolaj C.

Mikolaj C. has a diverse work experience spanning over more than a decade. Mikolaj started their career in 2007 as a Technical Support professional at Tesco PLC while completing their degree. Mikolaj provided first-line technical support over the phone and in person, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

In 2012, Mikolaj worked as a System and Network Administrator at CLD Engineers Pty Ltd. Mikolaj managed a single project, assessing requirements, developing an implementation plan, configuring network infrastructure, deploying file servers, and managing automated system backups. Mikolaj also created technical documentation and provided hardware recommendations.

Following that, in the same year, they worked as a Junior System and Network Engineer at Application Software Pty Ltd. Here, they assisted in network and system maintenance, administration, provided user support, and managed the VOIP telephone system.

From 2013 to 2014, Mikolaj joined Scottish Borders Council as a Desktop Support Officer, providing first and second line IT support, managing and resolving hardware, software, and telephony issues.

Mikolaj then worked at Exterity as a QA Engineer from 2013 to 2014. Mikolaj'sresponsibilities included identifying testing requirements, creating and executing test plans, maintaining test documentation, and analyzing and integrating third-party products.

From 2014 to 2016, Mikolaj worked at LogicNow as a QA Engineer. Mikolaj actively participated in daily standups and sprint planning, created high-quality test cases, executed them, reported defects, and worked with developers to resolve them. Mikolaj also participated in support projects, regression testing, and automated test development.

At IndigoVision, Mikolaj worked as a Test Engineer from 2016 to 2019. Mikolaj was part of an agile development team, actively participating in daily standups and sprint planning. Mikolaj'srole involved following iterative development and testing practices.

From 2019 to 2020, they joined ION Geophysical as a Senior Test Engineer. Mikolaj created and maintained product test plans, developed and maintained test procedures and scripts, and identified new test equipment and simulation requirements.

At LumiraDx from 2020 to 2021, Mikolaj started as a Software QA Engineer and later became a Senior Software QA Engineer. Mikolaj worked within a Linux OS development team, performing functional and non-functional testing, building test infrastructures, and contributing to the development of software and hardware.

Currently, Mikolaj is working at Corero Network Security as a Test Engineer.

Mikolaj C. completed their Bachelor of Engineering with Honours (BEng(Hons)) degree in Computer Networks and Systems at Edinburgh Napier University, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. Mikolaj obtained additional certifications, including the ISTQB-ISEB Certified Tester Foundation Level from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in December 2013 and the SAFe 5 Practitioner Certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in March 2021.
