Oskar Aznarez

Oskar Aznarez has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and companies. Oskar began their career in 2000 as a welder at Esgren, where they assembled Crane's modules until 2005. In 2011, they worked at Alalza providing technical support to worldwide enterprises, troubleshooting Juniper and Cisco Routers, and working with BGP protocol. Oskar then joined ECS Security Ltd in 2014 as a Cyber Security Operation Centre Analyst until 2016 before transitioning to ECS as a Cyber Security Operation Centre Senior Analyst. From 2016, Oskar has been employed at Corero Network Security, first as a Security Services Engineer until 2019 and currently as a Senior Security Engineer.

Oskar Aznarez has a diverse education history. Oskar started their academic journey in 1995 at Virgen Del Camino in Spain, where they pursued a degree in Metal Engineering. Their studies at Virgen Del Camino spanned from 1995 to 1999.

After a gap of several years, Oskar returned to education and enrolled in Jewell College in Edinburgh. From 2005 to 2007, they pursued a High National Certificate in Network Computing and also obtained a Certificate in Computing - NQ.

Seeking further specialization in the field of networking, Oskar attended Stevenson College in Edinburgh from 2007 to 2008. During this time, they earned a High National Diploma in Network Computing, with a focus on CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate).

Building on their foundational knowledge, Oskar pursued higher education at Edinburgh Napier University. From 2008 to 2010, they completed a BSC (Hons) in Network Computing. Later, from 2012 to 2014, they obtained an MSc in Advanced Networking.

Additionally, Oskar has complemented their formal education with various certifications. In 2015, they achieved the Wireshark Certified Network Analyst (WCNA) certification. In 2016, they obtained the CompTIA Security certification. Continuing to develop their expertise, Oskar earned the Juniper Networks Certified Associate - Junos (JNCIA-Junos) certification in 2019. Most recently, in 2021, they obtained the GIAC Open Source Intelligence (GOSI) certification from GIAC Certifications.
