Tyler Whitney has a diverse work experience in the engineering and oilfield industry. Tyler currently holds the position of Principal Engineer at Coretrax since May 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Mohawk Energy - Coretrax as a Senior Design Engineer from May 2016 to May 2021, where they were responsible for engineering and testing new downhole tools and coordinating customer requirements. Tyler previously served as an Applications Engineer at Mohawk Energy and as a Coiled Tubing Field Engineer at Halliburton, where they gained expertise in well intervention solutions and in-field operations. Tyler Whitney obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from LeTourneau University, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their undergraduate degree, they also obtained two certifications: "6.00.2x: Introduction to Computational Thinking and Data Science" from MITx on edX in December 2020, and "MITx 6.00.1x: Introduction to Computer Science and Programming Using Python" from MITx on edX in August 2020.
