Tyler Whitney has a diverse work experience in the engineering and oilfield industry. Tyler currently holds the position of Principal Engineer at Coretrax since May 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Mohawk Energy - Coretrax as a Senior Design Engineer from May 2016 to May 2021, where they were responsible for engineering and testing new downhole tools and coordinating customer requirements. Tyler also has experience as a Quality Engineer at Tex-Isle Supply, Inc. and worked as a Private Consultant in the past. Tyler previously served as an Applications Engineer at Mohawk Energy and as a Coiled Tubing Field Engineer at Halliburton, where they gained expertise in well intervention solutions and in-field operations. Tyler started their career as an Engineering Intern at Westlake Chemical, where they developed maintenance schedules and implemented treatment plans.

Tyler Whitney obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from LeTourneau University, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their undergraduate degree, they also obtained two certifications: "6.00.2x: Introduction to Computational Thinking and Data Science" from MITx on edX in December 2020, and "MITx 6.00.1x: Introduction to Computer Science and Programming Using Python" from MITx on edX in August 2020.
