David Marx

David Marx is a seasoned machine learning engineer and researcher with a rich background spanning over a decade in various roles across leading technology companies. Currently serving as a Senior ML Engineer/Architect at CoreWeave and as an independent ML Research Engineer at EleutherAI, David has made significant contributions in developing innovative AI tools for creative expression, notably the "Stable Diffusion" backend at Stability AI. Previous experience includes key positions at Microsoft and Amazon, where David focused on data science and applied machine learning, along with foundational roles in analytics and account management at Elder Research, SoundExchange, and Wheaton Volunteer Rescue Squad. David holds a Master of Science in Mathematics and Statistics from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Pitzer College.
