David Young is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in software and systems engineering. Currently serving as the Engineering Manager for Fleet Monitoring and Analysis at CoreWeave since October 2023, David previously held the position of Head of Engineering at Carbon, where responsible for the technical direction of an award-winning cloud-first visual effects and production company. At Technicolor Creative Studios, David focused on overhauling monitoring and observability platforms across multiple continents while advocating for Site Reliability Engineering principles. David has also held leadership roles at The Mill, overseeing technical management and engineering teams, and gained foundational experience as a Systems Administrator and Engineer in various companies. David holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Dalhousie University.
