John Watson

John Watson is a highly experienced finance professional currently serving as Managing Director and Principal at Blackstone in the Tactical Opportunities division since August 2021. In addition to this role, John is actively involved as a Board Observer at CoreWeave and as a member of the Board of Directors for New Tradition, Certified Collectibles Group (CCG), and YES Network. Prior to these positions, John held various roles at Morgan Stanley, including Executive Director of Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners, and has experience as a Director at UBS Investment Bank. John holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and a BA in Government from Wesleyan University, with prior education from Morehouse College.
