Marcus Acosta has a diverse work experience spanning over 16 years in various roles. Marcus is currently working as a Cloud Support Engineer at CoreWeave since 2022. Prior to this, Marcus worked at New York Public Radio for four years as a Digital Audio Network Engineer, where they designed and maintained an enterprise Broadcast Audio Network and created workflows for Broadcast Engineers. Before that, they served as an IT/Networking Contractor at Robert Half for five years, providing technical support and administration for clients. Marcus also worked as an Audio Engineer at Pearl Studios and as an Audio/Visual Technician at The College of New Jersey. Marcus began their career as an Administrative Assistant at Jones & Associates Communications.

Marcus Acosta obtained a degree in Network Operations & Security from Western Governors University, where they studied Information Technology from 2018 to 2021. Before that, they attended PC AGE Career Institute from 2017 to 2018, focusing on Internetwork Engineering. In 2010 to 2011, they studied Audio Engineering at the Institute of Audio Research, and from 2007 to 2009, they pursued Interactive Multimedia at The College of New Jersey.

In terms of certifications, Marcus has acquired several qualifications. Marcus obtained the CompTIA Cloud Essentials certification from CompTIA in April 2020, alongside the IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) from AXELOS Global Best Practice. In February 2020, they attained the Linux Essentials certification from the Linux Professional Institute. Marcus also holds the CompTIA A+ certification (obtained in May 2017), CompTIA Security+ certification (obtained in July 2018), and the CCDA certification from Cisco (obtained in December 2018). Additionally, Marcus has achieved various Cisco certifications, including CCNA (obtained in July 2019), Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA Security) (obtained in November 2019), and CCENT (obtained in March 2018).
