Marcus Butler

Marcus Butler has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and network development. Marcus began their career in 2010 as an RF Transmissions Technician in the United States Air Force, where they worked until 2016. In 2018, they interned as an Information Technology Intern at FedEx Services. From 2016 to 2018, Marcus worked as an Information Security Analyst at Georgia Southern University. Marcus then joined FedEx Services as a Full Stack Developer III in 2019 and continued until 2022. Marcus then moved on to DigitalOcean as a Senior Network Developer from January 2022 to February 2023, before joining CoreWeave in March 2023 as a Senior Network Developer.

Marcus Butler completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Information Technology from Georgia Southern University between 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, they pursued an apprenticeship in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering, specializing in Electronic Principles and Radio Frequency Transmissions, at the Community College of the Air Force in 2011. In terms of additional certifications, Marcus obtained the CCENT certification from Cisco in June 2017, followed by the CCNA Routing and Switching certification in January 2018. Marcus also holds the Security+ certification from CompTIA, which they obtained in February 2015.
