Ken Smith

Ken Smith is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in portfolio management and investment advisory. Currently serving as a Partner at Corient since March 2015, Ken contributes to one of the largest integrated fee-only registered investment advisors in the United States. Prior to this role, Ken held significant positions at Munder Capital Management from June 1999 to January 2015, where responsibilities included Lead Portfolio Manager for multiple investment strategies, focusing on core and growth stocks across various sectors, especially technology and telecommunications. Ken's career also includes roles as an Equity Analyst at American Century and as a Senior Manager at Arthur Andersen, where audit and business advisory services were provided. Academically, Ken holds an M.B.A. in Quantitative Finance and Statistics from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BBA in Accounting from the University of Michigan.
