Lauren Thompson is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in investment management. Currently serving as the Director of Investments at Corient since August 2021, Lauren previously held the role of Assistant CEO - Investments at the Santa Barbara County Employees' Retirement System from August 2018 to July 2021. Prior to that, Lauren worked as an Investment Analyst for the County of Santa Barbara, and spent nearly seven years at R.V. Kuhns & Associates as a Manager Research Analyst and Senior Investment Analyst. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and Economics from Linfield University, attained in 2007.
