Mark Wernig

Mark Wernig, CFP®, is a Partner at Corient, where a commitment to exceeding client expectations is paired with the resources of an innovative industry leader to enhance wealth management experiences. Prior to joining Corient in January 2015, Mark served in the US Navy from June 2004 to May 2024 as a Surface Warfare Officer, holding various key positions aboard guided-missile warships and as a Company Officer and Instructor. Mark's educational background includes a BS in Political Science from the United States Naval Academy, an MBA in Finance from the University of California, San Diego, an MA in National Security & Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College, and an MPS in Leadership, Education, & Development from the University of Maryland.
