Peter Watson

Peter is a Partner and Head of Alternatives for Corient and CI Financial. He oversees sourcing, diligence, and administration on behalf of CI’s combined USD $354+ billion (as of 10/21/2024), investing in best-in-class third party managers to deliver on clients’ goals. Peter is also the Regional Managing Partner for the NY/Tri-state wealth advisory team at Corient. Prior to Corient, Peter was a Partner at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), in the Asset and Wealth Management practice. Prior to BCG, Peter was the Head of Data Intelligence and Strategy at WisdomTree Asset Management. Peter started his career at McKinsey & Company and holds a Ph.D. from Scripps Research and a B.A. from Carleton College.
